Years ago on my way to college, rushing to drop off my daughters at my in-laws. My car heated up and in the rush, not thinking, I opened up the hood and twisted the radiator cap off. All of a sudden my whole face was burning from scalding hot water. Putting my face in the kitchen sink full of ice water, my mother-in-law cut some Savila and applied it to my face. I did this for the next two weeks until I was looking like the Thing in the Fantastic Four movie. The Savila, Aloe Vera worked so well that after two weeks I was able show my face. Not a scar or sign of what had happened. Thanks to the Savila. True Story.

Savila, the healing plant has many uses. It reduces dental plaque, helps treat canker sores, can slow the aging process and improve skin elasticity. It also lowers blood sugar levels that may enhance insulin sensitivity and help improve blood sugar management.

Medicine - Aztecs- Their World

In this next remedy for obese people, you use the root of the Tejocote, from the Nahuatl language of the Aztecs, meaning “stone fruit”. It is also known as the Mexican Hawthorne. This is native to the mountainous regions of Mexico and Guatemala. You combine the savila with the root of the Tejocote. Boil the ingredients in a liter of water and drink a glass in the mornings on an empty stomach. Do this for fifteen days. Excellent for losing weight.
